- Responsibility for electrical planning, command control technology, and PLC control systems
- Clarification of technical requirements and interfaces with the customer, other departments, and planning partners
- Creation of specifications for subsystems in plant engineering with a focus on electrical engineering/automation
- Handling of subsystems/partial projects with subcontractors
- Development and coordination of interfaces to MES and LMS systems
- Review of PLC programs and assessment of project progress
- Preparation of cost estimates for proposals
- Technical selection of components and purchased parts
- Offer comparisons and preparation of award decisions for procurement
- Supplier support throughout the project duration
- Cost, schedule, and quality monitoring of delivered services
- Supervision/coordination of commissioning and acceptance (primarily in Europe and China)
What you bring along
- Relevant technical education in electrical engineering or mechatronics
- At least 3 years of experience in project execution/management, preferably in the automotive or aerospace industry
- Solid knowledge of MS Office applications
- Structured, goal-oriented working style and strong communication skills
- Independent, solution-oriented, and responsible approach to work
- Friendly, confident, and professional demeanor
- Willingness to travel and flexibility
- Very good English skills; knowledge of German and/or French is an advantage
